The Users’ Club: A place to exchange information and to develop concepts

More than a third of SAB solution users are members of the Club and regularly attend project workshops convened every two months.

The SAB Users’ Club is an association completely independent of the Vendor, created by SAB users in 2000 as a forum where its members could freely exchange views and information.

The objectives of the Club were and still are the following:
  • Get a standard release that suits the greatest number with the diversity of banks members
  • Share costs for business developments 
  • And especially enjoy the area to exchange between members and share all the experiences and best practices.

Workshops every two months

Steering and User Committees.

The Club meets every two months to discuss matters relating to Group solutions, and is among the main source of inspiration for SAB software package upgrades. Group workshops are convened whenever the subject matter demands it. They are comprised of between 3 and 20 establishments who are all directly concerned by the subject, and are driven by a testing client establishment and a SAB officer.

Current group workshop projects:
Securities, Tax system, SEPA, Accounting, e.s@b, SCV-Single Customer View (Deposit Guarantee), AT Version, Basel III and EBA reporting.
